THE HUNTERIAN MUSEUM

Friday 23 December 2011

First               Specimen close-up
Second           Inner blood vessel structure of a full-term baby
Third              A section of a human face (real!)
Fourth           Specimen jars

Some cheeky photos from the Hunterian Museum, as you're not allowed to photograph the exhibits but I really couldn't resist, they're so beautiful! No flash of course. This was from a day out I took just before leaving London for Christmas. An audition that proved to be good experience, Winter Wonderland, Hyde Park lake, the Hunterian museum, great company and a relaxing evening - perfect. Though I felt a little sorry for the girl who fainted in the museum whilst we were watching a film of brain surgery! The Hunterian Museum is based in the London College of Surgeons near Holborn, which is a couple stops from my campus. There's so many things in there you could spend days looking at all the strange surgical instruments and anatomical marvels.
